Meet Our Comfort Keepers MI Caregivers

Our team of Comfort Keepers MI caregivers is uniquely qualified and ready to help

Every member of our team of caregivers is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers MI caregivers. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others.

All Comfort Keepers MI caregivers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

I love the concept of home care and what it stands for!”

Shannon Combs

Scheduling Coordinator

“It is my responsibility to coordinate the always challenging aspect of scheduling. I take pride in placing the right fit caregiver in the homes of our clients, establishing lasting and consistent care. I started in this industry as a care provider with the Comfort Keepers office in Lima Ohio in 2008. When it was time to move my family from Ohio, choosing a location that was near a Comfort Keepers office was the determining factor that lead me to Muskegon, Michigan. I am passionate about my position and strive to create complete satisfaction in the client-Comfort Keeper relationship”.

Comfort Keeper’s is by far one of the best choices available for high quality In-Home Care. I am proud to be a part of this organization.”

“As the Office Coordinator I am likely the first point of contact when calling or visiting the office. I truly enjoy the concept of in home care and interacting with others – from our comfort keepers, to our clients, to the administrative team. I am responsible for maintaining the details of daily activities in the office. My extensive world travels have provided me with a strong desire to deliver the most exceptional customer service with each opportunity. I began working with the elderly eleven years ago. I have since worked in an assisted living center, as a caregiver in Uganda, and most recently as a caregiver with Comfort Keepers. I truly love working with and caring for our older generation. It gives me great joy to be able to continue to help others on a daily basis while working in an administrative role. I absolutely love working for a company that I whole heartedly believe in and support.”

Jennifer Mamp

BSN, RN - Director of Clinical Services

“My career path began quite early in life when I witnessed my Grandmother’s failing health. I was so affected by the neglectful care I witnessed her receive at the local nursing facility that I swore I would someday make a difference to others like her.  I pursued and obtained my Associates in Applied Science degree from Alpena Community College and obtained my Registered Nurse license. Years later I attended on-line classes and obtained my BSN degree from the University of Phoenix. The majority of my 22 year career has been working in some type of home care based nursing, both in the field and in education and management. My true passion is helping people be successfully independent within their own homes. “
